Getting Started

Here are the steps  in case you would want to play dota:
1. Buy Warcraft III: The frozen throne, or if you are really cheap ;) you can go on youtube and search "How to get warcraft 3 tft for free"
2.Download the latest AI (Artificial intelligence, basically you play against bots) Dota map here:http://www.dota-utilities.com/2011/06/dota-671b-ai-official-dota-v671b-ai.html
-after u download the map, unzip it, cut it then go to your warcraft 3 folder
-go to Maps and paste it there
-Play a few games
-if you are confused or have questions, you can find the answers here: http://www.playdota.com/forums/getting-started/
-After playing with bots,getting familiar with the items, and getting kills its time to move on to a better gaming experience.
3.Download a game client (since playing on battle.net is just plane boring)
-RGC (Best client)
-Garena (good but with a lot of lags and restrictions)
you can find their websites if you search them on http://www.google.com
4.You are set to play Dota, ENJOY!!!! :)
